People tend to worry about their physical needs btu in so doing tend to miss their spiritual needs, which are anchored in Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all and controls and provides all. Lord, help me/us, to remember that You are my/our source of all things, both spiritual and physical, that I/we would seek after Your ways rather than worry about earthly things, and I/we will have both because of Your love. Amen

Throughout this chapter many things are mentioned, some good, bad, worthy, inexpensive. Sometimes when we try to gain 'it all" we lose a lot. When we seek God's kingdom (reign and rule in our hearts) we receive his blessings and more (seems like we get it all).

This is a must, followed by a promise. Try putting everything other than God first and see how well it prospers. Afterward try placing God first and let everything else follow; then enjoy the blessings of a caring Father.
