How blessed we are, that we as Christians have been given the faith to believe, even though we did not see Jesus after His resurrection. Thank You, Lord, for giving us the revelation of the truth of Your word that we believe and trust in You, the true and living God. Amen

When you actually see something or someone you will normally believe it. This was the case with Thomas, he saw Jesus and he believed. We are called as Christians to believe even when we have not physically seen Jesus. For some that is difficult so Father God please help those who doubt, those who refuse to believe, to get the faith. Help them to come to know you even without physically seeing you. This is my prayer for so many people. In Jesus' name, Amen.

"blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." This refers to me (us) because we have not seen Jesus physically, Holy Spirit has revealed this truth to me (us) because I (we) choose to believe that He is, and who He is, the God of all creation. I personally have seen His miracle working power and have three times heard His audible voice in as many days. I will never forget, as it had such an impact upon me. The first time I did not believe it, but then He spoke the exact same thing again, in a different pace and time. The third time He spoke, within an hour what He spoke came to pass. Thank You Lord, for revealing Yourself to me so many times, anchoring my faith. Help me Lord, to always follow Your truths and keep Your guardian angels close by me that I may be protected from the attacks and temptations of the enemy. Amen

The Jews wanted signs and miracles and even when they received these they still doubted and explained it away with some earthly explanation; much like we do today. Except we come with child-like faith believing that Jesus is who He says He is, we will not live. Seeing isn't always believing!

Lloyd S. from Trenton, ON said:
Faith and trust in Him and who He is, is always our most important asset, Cathy. I have experienced His presence so many times, I have no doubt. He's still workin' on me to get rid of the old nature, which even I hate. God bless, sister.

I used to wonder where certain phrases get developed, like "don't be a doubting Thomas". What was Jesus's statement, blesses are those of us who do not become doubting Thomas's, even though we have not seen.
Lloyd S.
Lloyd S. from Trenton, ON said:
Yes, Katherine, that phrase doubting Thomas has been around for a very long time. Heard it as a kid, and when I became a believer and read this Scripyure, I realized where the term came from. Thomas, even after having seen Jesus physically, still doubted untill he saw the wounds in His hands and side. God bless.
