Jeremiah 49:16
The terror you inspire
and the pride of your heart have deceived you,
you who live in the clefts of the rocks,
who occupy the heights of the hill.
Though you build your nest as high as the eagle's,
from there I will bring you down,"
declares the Lord.
and the pride of your heart have deceived you,
you who live in the clefts of the rocks,
who occupy the heights of the hill.
Though you build your nest as high as the eagle's,
from there I will bring you down,"
declares the Lord.
Lloyd S. from Trenton, ON said:
Those who go against the Lord, regardless how they have prepared, or, think they are safe, they will pay the price because none can out do or outsmart the Lord God Almighty. Lord, awaken those who think they don't need You, or, that You don't know their deeds, to turn back to You and humble themselves in repentance, that You will have mercy upon them. Amen

Lou Ann D. from Fort Smith, AR said:
I have to be very careful that I don't allow pride to get in the way of ministering to others. It can be easy to think I do it all and take the glory instead of allowing God the glory.

This verse shows that nothing is hidden from the Lord and no one can hide from His judgement. Obadiah speaks very similarly in verses 1- 4. Lord, help us to remember that absolutely nothing is hidded from You and help us also to not rise up in pride. Amen. I just finished listening to a warning by a lady named Suzette who experienced a prophetic dream in 2014, which stirred my thoughts and I believe the lady was right on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?x-yt-ts=1422503916&v=AAvbKoY56zc&feature=player_embedded&x-yt-cl=85027636#t=653
