The Lord had warned them through the prophet Jeremiah, and yet they chose to go their own way, defying the word of the Lord their God. Lord, help me/us to listen and pay attention to Your instruction, rather than determining my/our own way, so that I/we may remain under Your guardianship. Amen

Again the Lords warning went unheeded and they disobeyed and went their own way. Obedience to God is important to a Christian in his walk with God. In the Gospel of John, John 14: 15 "If you Love Me, you will Obey what I Command". We need to Listen to the word of God and take it into our Hearts. Blessing my brother in your daily walk with the Lord.

I didn't go somewhere else but I was disobedient. I had a dream where God told me I would never be alone I believed for awhile but eventually I stopped believing and relied on myself. But praise God I never believe that way and I believe that God is always with me.
