Isaiah 6:8
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?"

And I said, "Here am I. Send me!"

Amen, Peter. If we all do our little part in managing the earth and revealing our Creator and His love for us, then the whole world would be an even better place to inhabit. Blessings, Peter. Hope you enjoyed a blessed Christmas celebration.

First, is my desire to really, I mean truly, "High and lifted up" Do I really understand the meaning that the 'whole earth is full of His Glory" Oh, sure I say that 'I am a sinner' (a man of unclean lips), but do I understand the ugliness of my sin when I think of God's holiness and glory. Would it then be so easy for me to say 'Here am I, send me' Am I truly willing to submit totally to the Lordship of Christ? He paid the ultimate price to redeem; I belong to Him totally, not to myself; not to the world.

The Lord sees our hearts, and if you are willing to learn, to know His wisdom and knowledge, He will give you the understanding to really know the things that you are wanting answered. Only you and the Lord know if you are really ready in your heart to submit to Him and be sent out to minister for Him. God has already prepared you with an open heart to Him, He is just waiting for you to take that first step out in faith! Keep your trust in Him my friend and He will be right there with you every step of the way!

i know if i knew ahead of time the place God was going to send me, i would have never said "send me" and i doubt if Isaiah knew he would have to walk around naked for 3 years. As we step out in faith, our faith grows stronger and we see it is God doing all the work not us. Our walk with the Lord is a journey and we are kidding ourselves if we think we can truly understand any of it. God is so much above our comprehension.

God is calling His people to fulfill specific tasks and assignments. We have to respond being willing to go where He tells us to go and to do what He has asked us to do.

Amen! I too believe that everyone has a job to do for God and if we just take that first step of faith in Him, it will all fall into place because He will guide us and lead us where HE wants us to go and what to do! Hallelujah! Thank you Lord Jesus for Your amazing love and the faith and courage that You help us have to minister to others for You!

Amen! Yes, we have to take that first step of faith, but that is just the beginning. There will be many more steps that will require even more faith as our faith muscle is strengthened.

Yes, Rose, Mary and Nancy, if we keep working out with the same weights without increasing the poundage, we won't get strong. It gets pretty boring lifting weights that are too easy. God needs to break us out of our comfort zone. In order for muscles to grow, they need to tear, then rest to regrow stronger. But we need to pace ourselves and allow plateaus to grow stronger. I went to the gym one time and saw this girl that was smaller than me, lifting heavier weights than me. I felt embarrassed so I tried lifting heavier weights. I ended up hurting myself and couldn't go back to the gym for quite a while, and when I did go back I had to start back at even lighter weights. That taught me a lesson, not to compete with anyone but myself. God wants something different for each of us, and we need to listen to Him and His calling for us. Welcome to our forum Rose, we're glad your hear.

Amen! So true everyone. Everything is a process of step with precise instructions. We just have to follow the instructions and take steps of faith. Donna I like your analogy of the weights and the gym. I thought about when we work out, in the beginning everything in our body aches, crying out in agony and it seems nothing is taking place. But if we remain consistent and be persisten to follow through, we will see the end results which will be a lean and strong body. It's the same in the spirit realm. The more we exercise our faith, the stronger in God we become, learning how to walk and hear His voice clearly and precisely. Awesome comments. Wow! To God be the glory!

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!" (Isaiah 6:8) Hallelujah! Here is Isaiah seeing our Father and His Angels! And at first he said he was not Holy enough to see Him sitting on the Throne so the Angel puts a hot coal on his lips telling him he has been cleansed from his sins. Then the Lord Himself talking to Isaiah asking him who will go out for them, and he said "Here am I. Send me!" Reminds me when I was on Facebook looking at all the posts, reading about God and His powers of healing, saving, and all His love and compassion and I said "God, I want to mean something besides just being a stay at home Mom and Housewife. I want to BE someone besides a Mommy and a wife. I want to DO something besides cleaning, washing clothes, cooking, taking care of these stupid animals, and grocery shopping, and paying bills!" AND then it was like a weird box popped up in the middle of the screen that said; "Would you help us take our Facebook for God?" I had to look at it twice! I told my daughter to look at it because I never saw this before! She said she had no idea what it was. I got out of it and continued on looking at the pictures, and all of a sudden, That SAME box popped up again! "Would you help us take our Facebook for God?" I clicked the "YES" and it had me set up a ministry page for God! And since June 2nd I have had 391 people like it and I it is all over the world! I have Pastors, Ministers, Evangelists, Missionaries, people who go by Bishop, Apostle, Disciple, and I do a Devotional Bible Study on there everyday! I have been asked to join 29 Christian Groups and share my posts with them and their churches! I have membership in three Online Churches who have had me join! So, when you tell God "Here am I. Send me!" Be prepared for Him to take that and run with it! Hallelujah! Thank you Lord for having me see that I am MORE than just a stay at home Mommy and Housewife! I am a Woman of God and a Minister for YOU! I give You ALL the glory and honor and praise!!

God will use the willing, and with technology today, as with your ministry, you can still do what you have always done and minister to the world at the same time. I heard a prophecy one time, I believe it was Cindy Jacobs, who said the internet would have a large part in spreading the gospel. What is your site name, Mary? God bless you.
