Hosea 7:13
Woe to them,
because they have strayed from me!
Destruction to them,
because they have rebelled against me!
I long to redeem them
but they speak about me falsely.

It sounds like God does everything to call His people and they hurt Him by rejecting Him. I feel that the Lord is also hurt and sad because He knows that its only going to harm them for their choices.

God always desires to redeem those who have drifted from Him, jut as He always did Israel but if they fail to return to Him in repentance, their path is a path of judgment and destruction. Lord I continue to petition You to bring awakening to those who have drifted away from You, or, have never known You, that they would become part of Your kingdom again, or, for the first time. Amen

Scripture spells it out quite clearly and Franklin Graham has just said the same thing.....that we need to return to God, as government is not going to do it. 2Ch 7:14-15 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my 2Ch 7:face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
