Genesis 6:5
The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.

This is a powerful verse that can be applied today but this time there will be no flood. Is history repeating its self. After 100 of years of sin that entered the world, God see that wickedness that is great in this world. God see that the human heart is evil, the deliberate rejection of God(we see that today) In a Godless state, we do not happen into sin , we intentionally plan for it. Its not just our actions/sin that is the problem, it is the hearts and minds that produce those actions. Yes we are in the Days of Noah, and over the centuries mans sinful nature has not improved. The Day of The lord Matthew 24, God's coming Judgment for human sin. With out God's Redemption and recreation, the human heart remains inclined to plan for evil continually.

This verse makes me think a lot. What happen to cause the world to do so much evil, and think so much evil. I have heard and saw on the news human trafficking, sex trafficking, murder, vicious slanders, perversion at every inclination of thoughts, deceit, malice and so much more evil. Without the presence of God in peoples' lives, evil will consume them and cause them to do wicked things. Only Jesus, the light of this world, can shine and give light for the people who live in darkness and lead them onto the path that leads to life.
