Exodus 36:2
Then Moses summoned Bezalel and Oholiab and every skilled person to whom the Lord had given ability and who was willing to come and do the work.

This verse is key, to building the Temple / Sanctuary Bezalel and Oholiab , filled with the Spirit of God, the ability and the skill to build the Temple of God, to create a place that God dwells. As Christians we are the Temple of the Holy Spirit, He dwells in us, we were created to work for the Kingdom of God. No matter what gifts, skills or ability to perform these skills God Blest us with, it's for His Glory.

God gave them the skills and the ability to complete the work. God gives each of us the skill and ability to do whatever he has called us to.

The Lord has given each of us the ability to carry out a given task. The key word here is "willing" to come and do the work. We all have the ability...the Lord has provided that to us. It's the willingness to come to the forefront and work and when we work we work for the Lord. If we open ourselves up each day to work for the Lord, it places a different outlook and light upon our daily tasks and functions. Our lives are filled with busyness and we tend to forget why we are here and what our purpose is. The Lord has set the task before us...are we willing?

If the Lord gives you a talent you should use it for His glory, however, most are unwilling to do this.

Lord gave the ability but the people still had to be willing to come and do work
Am I ready and willing to do what god has given abilities to do?

This verse tells me that free will has always been a part of God's plan for mankind. If we are not "willing to come and do the work" even though He has given us the gift, then God will use another vessel who is willing to accomplish His plan. We must choose wisely when the Holy Spirit speaks to us or we may loose an opportunity to fulfill our purpose.

This is key: "and who was WILLING...". Notice that our offerings are not DEMANDED of us. If we are willing, we make an offering (in this case, of labor). However, while it is not demanded of us, we miss out on so many blessings and gifts from God when we don't make ourselves willing participants in the Kingdom.
