The Holy things of the Lord are not for sinful man. To make this incense for a purpose other than the Holy calling of God is to diminish it's meaning(and beautiful aroma) to the people. It's so important that God says if they do, they must die.

God expects our complete devotion! He is a jealous God. As He tells us in His first commandment we are to have no other gods before Him. He is our one true God. God's holiness is absolute. His Word is absolute. What's dedicated to Him, is His alone, not to be defiled by mixing in humanistic (or any other) ideas. A Christian's life has been given to God. We are not to give it to anyone or anything else. He wants His child to live a holy life for Him. We are not to defile our lives with worldly thoughts, actions, or deeds. What belongs to God is God's!
