What a tremendous honor/ Blessing one can receive through a Relationship with Christ, of being commissioned to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As the apostles were persecuted for proclaiming the Good News we should be thankful that we are not physically persecuted for our faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Lord help me (us) to stand firm in your word, proclaiming Jesus the Messiah.

There are many blessings that we receive through a relationship with Christ, being commissioned to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We must remain committed to sharing the Good News of the saving Grace of Jesus Christ to a fallen world.

Teaching AND preaching..the good news that Jesus is the Messiah.
Throughout the Scriptures, we see that the Bible does differentiate between preaching and teaching. And the general difference is that the teacher aims primarily at the mind while the preacher will aim more at the heart. Teaching is primarily instructional, while preaching is primarily motivational.
So often today, I hear Christians trying to diminish the value of good teaching while only being concerned with good preaching. But God is interested in your mind and he wants you to fill it with truth because the primary tactic of Satan is to fill your mind with lies.
The best answer to the devil’s lies is found in both good teaching and good preaching. So let the truth of the Word of God fill both your heart and your mind.
God made you a multi-faceted being because he wants you to use everything you are for his glory. So, as the Great Commandment says, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind” (Matthew 22:37).
Let’s pray that God’s truth will fill both our mind and our heart so that we can honor Jesus with our entire being.

Heavenly Father, Lord help me to boldly share Your Word through the Gospels of John, even if it means going from door to door proclaiming the good news! In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

This is a great example of dedication to Christ. Even after having been warned not to teach about Him and even having been flogged, they left rejoicing and never stopped teaching about Christ. If all Christians had this dedication to Christ there would likely be many more believers. Lord, give us all this kind of dedication. Fill us afresh daily with Your Spirit.
