It is amazing how God works sometimes. Peter thought that it was not right to minister to preach to Gentiles. But when He saw the vision from the Lord, it awakened him, and then when Holy Spirit came upon the Gentile family, it was revealed to him that God intended His word for all people. This opened up a whole new avenue of ministry, not only to the Jews but to Gentiles as well. His testimony was a powerful influence to the others who heard, and they began to minister to all who would listen. Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. I am just finishing a ten sermon series by Rick Warren, entitled "Unshakable" being the story of Daniel. An excellent teaching: https://www.destinyimage.tv/all-courses/rick-warren-unshakeable

Acts 11: 18 When they heard these things they became silent; and they glorified God, saying, "Then God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance to life." I guess these Jewish believers thought that Jesus came to just renew God's covenant with the Jewish nation, and upon hearing Peters account of his visit with Cornelius, they were dumbfounded into silence. S-T-R-E-T-C-H! Nope, that new wine is NOT gonna fit into those old wine skins. But the great part here is that they, then, glorified God because they saw He was now doing a work among the Gentiles. Praise God, they were open enough put their pre conceived ideas and traditions aside to allow God to move among them and the gentiles in this new covenant. How often has God tried to do something new in the church today and met with church traditions that said, "we've never done it this way before, so it must not be of God, because it doesn't fit in our box we've put God in". We must be balanced in what we do, if it's in the Bible, we should do it, if it's not in the Bible, we shouldn't, period. Papa God, please show me where I've allowed tradition to trump the divine moving of Your spirit, in Jesus name, Amen

When they heard this, they had no further objections and Praised God , saying, "So then, even to Gentiles God has granted Repentance that leads to Life." Key word Repentance a turning away from Sin to God. God always Grants Forgiveness when there is Repentance, which leads to Eternal Life in Jesus. The results of Repentance brings Salvation: 2 Corinthians 7:10 Godly sorrow brings Repentance that leads to Salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.

We as believers have to believe that we are not under condemnation.(Romans8:1) Jesus death paid all sins for all people. The Bible does not say all sins but ???,it says all sins. God died for us, he paid it all. The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.(Rev22:17) I do not see anyone that has been left out. Thank you Jesus.

Amen. Our pastor preached two Sundays ago regarding predestination and it all comes down to the fact that it is not that God chooses who will be saved, for it is His desire that all should come to faith in Christ. However because God knows all things before they happen, He knew from the beginning of time who would and will receive His gift of salvation through Christ. therefore they are predestined to heaven or hell. Give us those devine appointments, Lord, to help give the opportunity to plant the seed of salvation.

I am not Jewish. Praise God because He does not discriminate against me. We must always approach the people that God puts in our path regardless of their color, how much money they have, or even their religion. If God put them in our path, we have a obligation to tell them about Jesus. Dear Lord, give me the courage to tell more people about your goodness.
