We see here, that what Elisha had spoken in verse 2 came to pass just as he had spoken it, showing the accuracy of Elisha's prophetic word. When a proven man of God speaks, it's wise to pay attention. We now there are, and always have been false prophets but those who have been and are proven, even today, it is wise to pay attention. Lord, help us to discern the true prophets of God this day, and pay attention to what they speak. Amen

And the word of the Lord, through Elisha came to pass, as the guard was trampled to death and he did not partake of any of any of what he witnessed.

When a true prophet of God such as Elisha, speaks, it's best to listen and realize that absolutely nothing is impossible for God and if He speaks it, it will be. As we all know He made everything that exists and also made man from the dirt of the earth, so what's impossible for our God.
