2 Kings 5:27
Naaman's leprosy will cling to you and to your descendants forever." Then Gehazi went from Elisha's presence and his skin was leprous—it had become as white as snow.

Gehazi's greed obviously rose up in him and he pursued Naaman to take advantage of the gifts that Elisha had turned down. To me, this shows that Elisha was showing Naaman that it was not he that had healed him of the leprosy but the God of Israel. Gehazi's greed was repaid with him and his family taking on the leprosy that Naaman was healed of. This shows that selfishness can be a large detriment to those who pursue it. Prov 15:27  He who is greedy for gain troubles his own house, but he who hates bribes shall live.

Can't add to much to this Lloyd you nailed it, but I must say the bible verse you chose backed it up. 47 degrees and sunny time to get some vitamin C. Blessing brother things are changing rapidly. Jesus is coming!

Gehazi Greed:Again we see the consequences for the sin of covetousness/greed of Elisha's servant Gehazi, who took payment for the healing of Naaman, which in turn he came down with the leprosy that Naaman had a worse leprosy that was white as snow and incurable. Gehazi is suffering the consequences of his corrupt behavior and also his descendants. You might say Gehazi blew it big time that being a faithful disciple To Elisha was not enough.

Once again Peter, we chose the same verse, with virtually the same thought pattern. Gehazi's greed and selfishness overtook him, and he paid a horrible price, both himself and his offspring receiving the leprosy Naaman was healed of.. Blessings Peter. Looks great weather-wise for the next week brother. Calling for low to high 50s for the next week, and mostly sun shine. :-)

Amazing how greed and lying can destroy a life as it did Elisha's servant and his descendants..

Disobedience towards God will always bring His justice. Repent of you sins and be forgiven, because God above all other things is a redeemer.
