They did not require an accounting from those to whom they gave the money to pay the workers, because they acted with complete honesty.

These builders were working for the Lord, doing His work! No matter how high or low of a position we have, we are commanded to do it as unto the Lord, as everything we do is seen before the Lord and before others.

There was a time when a man's word was his bond. Our time needs a renewal of this biblical value and it starts with me. Home is where our children first learn about values and this is one that is in bad need of revival.

This verse speaks for itself!!! We need to always be honest!!! My parents taught me when I was younger that when you do good things, then good things happen to you and when you do bad things, then bad things happen to you!

2 Kings 12:15 - So great to see God's people working and giving together to please the Lord with COMPLETE honesty. They trusted each other which makes serving and giving to he Lord so much more joyful. God loves joyful givers. Luke 16: 10-13 - “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else’s property, who will give you property of your own? “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”
