This segment of scripture reveals the respect and love these men have for each other so as to bring only the best and most expensive articles to be used for a special magnificent temple for the Lord their God to reside. Plus the respect and love shown for Soloman's father, King David.
I see something here that Paul continually said to the churches, 'keep the unity of the churches, be of one mind.' How far we have come away from that teaching.

I can't help but think that David shared his faith with Hiram, king of Tyre. It's great to see Gentiles in the Old Testament giving God praise. It was always God's desire that the whole world praise Him. One of the great things about Heaven is people from all over the world will be there giving praise to the Father and the Son for the gift of salvation found only in Jesus. Let us be faithful in sharing our faith and praying for missionaries and others who are busy sharing Christ around the world.
