Exodus 32:11
But Moses sought the favor of the Lord his God. " Lord," he said, "why should your anger burn against your people, whom you brought out of Egypt with great power and a mighty hand?

We like Moses, must seek God's favor, and ask for his forgiveness and also intercede on the behalf of others. For all that we do and have done since the beginning of time, we don't deserve God's forgiveness or mercy. I thank God for His grace, mercy, forgiveness, love, and mostly for Jesus Christ His son.

and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills—

When believers do things without the Spirit of God, wisdom, understanding, and knowledge and we only use our skills in a natural way instead of spiritual way. When the Spirit of God is in the mix, there is perfection and great success that is everlasting. This scripture is important to me because my life has been a total mess. I am learning each day more and more to be lead by the Holy Spirit...to use all the gifts that God has given me for His Glory! and not for my own selfish gain.

Exodus 30:10
Once a year Aaron shall make atonement on its horns. This annual atonement must be made with the blood of the atoning sin offering for the generations to come. It is most holy to the Lord."

The Day of Atonement was done once a year as a sin offering for the people which was only temporary. Jesus Christ is the perfect atonement that was to come who could remove our sins forever.

Exodus 29:46
They will know that I am the Lord their God, who brought them out of Egypt so that I might dwell among them. I am the Lord their God.

God has a desire for us to be with Him, but we must Honor and Obey his commands. He required the Israelites to Honor and Obey Him so that He could be present in their lives. We may not have the same rituals or sacrifices that they did in the Old Testament because Jesus died on the cross for our sins, however we are to Honor God with all our possessions and Obey his commands so that He can be present in our lives also.
