This verse means that we are to tell everyone about the unconditional love & forgiveness of the Lord Jesus Christ. In Verse 20 , I also like this verse , because we are to obey His word and let others know we are to obey God's word and also, it tells me that the Lord is always with us and will never leave us. Jesus will always lead us in the way we should go. Thank You Lord Jesus for always being with me and loving me unconditionally.

Amen. Obedience is better than sacrifice but we all slip and when I do I go back to the word in 1John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

It is amazing at times how He provides, Becky, when we least expect it. I remember a time when my wife and I were in rather desperate straights financially, and a dear sister in the Lord and her husband handed us a substantial sum that got us over the hump, and I'm certain nobody knew but them and us. I said we would repay them as soon as possible but they said, no, it's a gift. They are still very close to us today.

I like Matthew 5:3-12 also. We are to love all people as God loves all. We are to live as Jesus lived. We are tp prayer for all. and if someone hurts us , we are to go to them with love and ask for forgiveness and make things roght. God will bless us in all things , if we do and listen to Him.

This verse say's to me, that as sinners and as we accept Christ as are Savior and are Baptist as Jesus was Baptisted, we show others of our faith in following Jesus Christ. As God was pleased with His Son, so is Jesus very pleased with us.

When the Magi, saw Jesus , they brought gifts , and than they were warned not to go back and tell King Herod, so they returned to there country another way. This verse means to me, that our Lord Jesus Christ will always be there to help us, and if we always listen to His word and folow His word, He will always see us through.
