You cannot get help without God. When asking family and friends for help, Sometimes they can't or don't want to help. Maybe the Lord is trying to tell you in a sense to turn to HIM and seek help. Instead of relying on others. Depend and rely on HIM. FIRST.

Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—

I would like to see how the original Hebrew text is written for this verse (to those who believed in his name) because so many believe who Jesus was and yet have never made the commitment to Him with their lives. As those here know, there's more than just knowing who Jesus is for to be saved. I know I have some trimming to do yet, and continue to as His help but at least I'm on the right path. God bless.
