In this verse Jesus is teaching about patience. Patience is something so few of us truly possess. I am 41 years old & I still have not mastered patience. It is a difficult virtue to master.

I agree with you there, Konni, I have to remind myself daily that I need to practice more patience, which I surely am weak in. God bless.

John 6:6
He asked this only to test him, for he already had in mind what he was going to do.

This verse is intriguing because I think we can apply it to our lives now. God gives us options but he knows what are decisions will be all the way to the day we will betray him or turn away from him. As a parent I can't imagine how painful this must be because I would do anything to prevent my daughter from making the wring choices.

The Lord must grieve a lot, Konni, when He sees how some of His children act. I continually pray that I will cat according to His will, and I know at times I blow it but I do my best to Confess and repent. 1Johnn 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1John 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. God bless.

i think God test us to reveal to us what is in our hearts. He knows us so much better than we know ourselves.

John 5:30
By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.

I often pray that I can do nothing without christ. And Christ also prayed this prayer about God. It always amazes me how scripture brings life full circle.

So Konni, if people want to see a miracle all they have to do is read the bible.

"Unless you people see signs and wonders," Jesus told him, "you will never believe."

I believe this is more so today then it was in Jesus' time. We are a seeing to believe society. That's why it's so important for us as Christians to live a pure life so others will be drawn to Christ through our example.

Excellent point, Konni. It makes others wonder what it is we have, and they want it. God bless.

This is the first verse I ever memorized. It is the epitome of what Jesus' purpose was on Darby while demonstrates God's love for us.

So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.

This verse is encouraging because it demonstrates Jesus showing true human emotion. He was angry for good reason & made sure all in his presence understood this fact. I often view anger as a sin but, this shows that anger in itself is not a sin but how we expss it can be.

This is the understatement of the century. Jesus was so much more. I don't think there iis enough time before his return to list all his amazing attributes. It saddens me to know people in biblical time new who Jesus was but allowed fear and jealousy to drive their actions.

True. Lloyd and Konni, people haven't changed at all. As long as we listen to radio devil (fear) we can't hear radio God (love, power and sound mind of Christ). I'm guilty of doing it myself, being more concerned about people liking and accepting me. He's still working on me, making me what I oughta be. God bless

I find this verse truly amazing, here Jesus was beaten within an inch of his life, mocked & crucified yet he is still saving others up until is last breath. A criminal who admits he deserves his punishment saw the light and feared (honored) God and accepted Jesus and was saved. It proves that it's never to late to gain salvation through the gift of grace given by our Lord & Savior.
Lloyd S.
Lloyd S. from Trenton, ON said:
So true Konni. Right to our last breath but surely not advisable to wait til that time, as we may pass inworthstantly, without opportunity to confess Christ. I've heard some say; "I'll do that later" but again, they may be killed instantly without the chance to confess. Rom 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

This verse is intriguing to me. Here Jesus knew what he was about to face & who had betrayed him yet he did not change his behavior or attitude. He treated all of his disciples equally & with love that they were unable to see who the betrayer was.

It is amazing, Konni. I expect Jesus closed their minds to the knowledge, as the others may have interrupted His plan to die for us. Just my 2 cents worth. Amazing, His love for us. God bless.
