In this verse Jesus is teaching about patience. Patience is something so few of us truly possess. I am 41 years old & I still have not mastered patience. It is a difficult virtue to master.

God's timing is perfect. it is difficult to be patient as await God' s timing for answers to our prayers. Abraham did not and we still suffer from that as their is still enmity between Isaac's and Ishmail's descendants. Jesus waited for God's time and perfectly finished the task of purchasing our Salvation. Lord help us to wait upon you!

It is always amazing how Jesus knew when His death would occur and yet he held to his mission without any hesitation or fear. What an amazing Lord we have, who knew His fate and yet for our sakes carried on without hesitation. Thank You Jesus.
