Leviticus 25:2
"Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'When you enter the land I am going to give you, the land itself must observe a sabbath to the Lord.

God clearly reminds Israel that He will give them the promise land. They may have not take possession of it yet, but He has already given it to them. Then, He goes on to give them clear instructions about how He wants them to live once in the land. God is never unclear in HIs instructions. He will direct our paths but the problem is am I listening? Am I possessing the promises He has given me by following the guidelines He sat down or am I stubbornly insisting on doing things my way?
When I refuse to follow God, it leads into the wilderness not into the promised Land. How many times have I wondered in the wilderness rather than simply taking possesson of His promises and living them out in my life? Is my marriage in trouble because I refuse to submitt to the God's guidelines? Are there fractured relationships in my life simply because I have held on to bitterness rather than forgiveness?
Today is the day I must enter the promised land and allow God's way to be my way, His desires my desires.
