"Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'When you enter the land I am going to give you, the land itself must observe a sabbath to the Lord.

When God created man HE knew that man would work, and work and work, without rest. God also knew that the Children of Israel would not get any days off while they were in bondage in Egypt. That is why HIS SABBATH day (the 7th day of the week:SATURDAY) is so important to HIM. But as usual, man must have his own way. Therefore, man started calling SUNDAY the sabbath day. We can see by Leviticus 25:2 that GOD wanted even the land to have a SABBATH. Four the past 5 years, I have seen many, of the large churches start to teach about things (like the feast days) I learned in my church over 15 years ago. GOD is truely keeping HIS WORD: And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. ISA. 66:23

God clearly reminds Israel that He will give them the promise land. They may have not take possession of it yet, but He has already given it to them. Then, He goes on to give them clear instructions about how He wants them to live once in the land. God is never unclear in HIs instructions. He will direct our paths but the problem is am I listening? Am I possessing the promises He has given me by following the guidelines He sat down or am I stubbornly insisting on doing things my way? When I refuse to follow God, it leads into the wilderness not into the promised Land. How many times have I wondered in the wilderness rather than simply taking possesson of His promises and living them out in my life? Is my marriage in trouble because I refuse to submitt to the God's guidelines? Are there fractured relationships in my life simply because I have held on to bitterness rather than forgiveness? Today is the day I must enter the promised land and allow God's way to be my way, His desires my desires.
