Luke 23:43
Jesus answered him, "Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise."

Salvation was available for the criminal. It was the time that God had already ordained. The criminal recognized Jesus. Knew He was the Messiah. Knew He was without blemish. Recognized his own flaws. Acknowledged his sinful state. Had faith to believe He was the Messiah. Asked Jesus to remember him. Through the sinner's acceptance, belief and confession, Jesus responded with love ... A promise of eternity..for his name was written in the Book of Life. Jesus' response granted the sinner salvation at his deathbed. The cross provided eternal life in paradise with Our Savior, the Messiah! Praise God!

Yes, Monica, and that guy didn't have a chance to get off that cross and do ANY good works to earn his way to heaven. He trusted in Jesus Christ ALONE and was ushered into Paradise.

Ecclesiastes 4:13
Better a poor but wise youth than an old but foolish king who no longer knows how to heed a warning.

Monica W. from Grayson, GA said:
Wisdom is worth more than financial status, power or position. It is sad to physically age and not possess wisdom or love. It is truly better to listen, to discern and to accept counsel rather than to toss it aside. Can you discern? Do you hear? Can you accept and apply counsel?

Ecclesiastes 3:17
I said to myself,

"God will bring into judgment
both the righteous and the wicked,
for there will be a time for every activity,
a time to judge every deed."

Monica W.
Monica W. from Grayson, GA said:
We should be mindful that God is the one true Judge. He will judge every action that we have performed. We are accountable.

Ecclesiastes 2:14
The wise have eyes in their heads,
while the fool walks in the darkness;
but I came to realize
that the same fate overtakes them both.

Monica W. from Grayson, GA said:
It is great to have wisdom. With wisdom, you gain knowledge and exercise discernment in your choices. Wisdom changes the prescription in your lenses and gives a Godly view. Whereas, a fool is blind. His choices are made quickly and without deep consideration. Then, I realized that whether wise or simple, this world and our choices are temporary.

In your majesty ride forth victoriously
in the cause of truth, humility and justice;
let your right hand achieve awesome deeds.

Monica W. from Grayson, GA said:
If Jesus is embedded in our hearts and we are intertwined in Him, we should represent His truth, His humility, and His justice so that we are fruitful and His kingdom grows.

Psalms 43:5
Why, my soul, are you downcast?
Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God,
for I will yet praise him,
my Savior and my God.
Monica W.
Monica W. from Grayson, GA said:
Do not be disturbed. Don't focus on your circumstance. Put your circumstance into His Hand for there is hope. Praise Him through whatever troubles you, for our Savior is our eternal hope. Our circumstance or trouble is temporary. Turn it over to Him.

Psalms 42:3
My tears have been my food
day and night,
while people say to me all day long,
"Where is your God?"
Monica W.
Monica W. from Grayson, GA said:
While others observe or speculate that My Father isn't caring for me, He is present. He have never left me or forsaken me. I hold on to His promises in spite of my tears. My tears are a myriad of my joy and sorrow. Yet, I know He holds me and guides me for my tears sustain me. They represent promises of His love revealed to me for each tear's appointed time.

the Lord delivers them in times of trouble.

Turn your focus to the concern of others, especially those that are not able to care for themselves. Our Father remembers our behavior and delivers when we face adversity and challenges in life. The Lord is a Keeper and a Protector!

Psalms 40:5
Many, Lord my God,
are the wonders you have done,
the things you planned for us.
None can compare with you;
were I to speak and tell of your deeds,
they would be too many to declare.
Monica W.
Monica W. from Grayson, GA said:
Infinite are your works that I have experienced. Even more are planned and not yet seen by me. I'm grateful and hopeful. I could talk for days and not be able give every detail or recap each thing that You have done for me. However, just my relationship with You outweighs what You have already done and what You have for my future. Awesome...magnificent..indescribable ...I AM...
