Psalms 67:1
May God be gracious to us and bless us
and make his face shine on us—

Well, this immediately made me think of the eclipse, not in a weird worship the eclipse way but how we cannot look upon God, he looks upon us. It is a respect, fear of God and bow down sort of feeling. I just can't explain how having the light of the world look upon us with Grace and Blessing is the best, and without it, it is darker, colder, and strange. It just produces awe and wonderment inside of me and I hope and pray my growth as a Christian leads me to this, to make his face shine on us (or me)!! ;)

Amen, Kara. He is such an awesome God, and so patient, if only we continue to seek His ways. God bless you, and may His light shine on you and yours.

This is like taking a selfie. I am so stubborn. I always default to my way, my timing, my control. Ughhh.

Exodus 6:6
"Therefore, say to the Israelites: 'I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians. I will free you from being slaves to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment.

This reeks of New Testament to me, Christ saying "my yoke is easy and my burden is light" and God saying He will redeem with an outstretched arm....I only think of Christ on the cross with arms outstretched redeeming us.
