To me this says exactly who Jesus is to God...therefore who he should be to each of us. We should hold Him in the same high regard we have for God-we should respect Him and praise Him because He is more than worthy. He is the son of God!

Philemon 1:9

This shows how humbled Paul was during this time. He chose to come to him in love-not commanding Philemon's obedience like he could have.How many times has God done this very thing for me and you? His grace & mercy given time and time again when we did not deserve it.Every time either has been given has been from the love God has for us. Paul knew this and was humbled by it. This is very inspiring. Thank you Heavenly Father for your word, & your love!!

This verse means to me that through all adversary-faith never wavered-quitting was not an option and through it all righteousness prevailed. It encourages me to stay strong through the good and the bad times, to thank God to trust God wholeheartedly & to be obedient to Him. It also says to me to never give up, finish what I start for God & believe that when that race is over...glory, victory will be mine.
