Genesis 4:26
Seth also had a son, and he named him Enosh.At that time people began to call on the name of the Lord.

The people of that time needed to call on the name of the Lord. It was way past time for them to do that. If only people in America would realize this in this day and age that we need to be doing the same thing, repenting of how we have removed God from nearly aspect of our lives, only to be surprised that the mass killings are going on now. Then there are those who will ask how God can let something like this happen. God give us the freedom to choose whether we will live for Him or not. He is removing his protective covering from America because of our disregard for Him.

How blessed are that we are created in His image, male and female he created us. No option for same sex marriage or relationships. That is the way He meant it to be.

It is just the beginning of how we tend to back away from our responsibility in an action, even today, trying to cover ourselves from blame and passing it on to another. We should realize that God is an all knowing God and we cannot hide anything from Him. He is also a God of forgiveness and though we may suffer the consequences of a sin, we are forgiven if we repent and ask for forgiveness.

That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.

It is the way it should be in a marriage. Being there for each other, totally faithful to each other. God intended for a husband and wife to put each other ahead of even their children along with parents. Not that they should not love and honor and cherish their children and parents, but that they should place more importance on their marriage.
