Psalms 93:4
Mightier than the thunder of the great waters,
mightier than the breakers of the sea—
the Lord on high is mighty.

Psalm 93:4 - This reminds me of tonight. We were sharing Christ with a girl that lives on little street that is surrounded by 2 major highways and one main street. The noise was so annoying, I don’t know how anyone could stand to live there. Plus these very young kids were riding motor bikes and making more noise. I am thinking how are we going to present the Gospel over this noise, but we did and she prayed to receive Christ as Lord, Savior and Friend. It was a divine appointment as she has been searching for the truth. It doesn’t matter how loud the noise is, The LORD on high is mightier and can speak over all the noise, all the lies, all the sin, all the hurts of the past and bring His Saving Grace to anyone who wants to hear. Father, please keep speaking Your love and Your grace to Samantha. Help her get on the straight and narrow path that lead to the abundant life You came to give her. May she only follow Your voice.

That's awesome, Nancy. Isn't it an amazing experience to watch God do that?

That's awesome, Nancy, and excites even this old codger up her in the north country. Thank You, Lord, for giving Nancy that opportunity that You ordained. May Samantha be baptized with Your Holy Spirit, and grow in her faith and walk with You. Amen

Lloyd, we see people pray just about every week. Pray she will allow us to follow up. Sometimes we see these people a few years later and there is no evidence of growth.

I had to read several translations to understand what the message was. My understanding is that the thunder of the great waters, the powerful breakers of the sea...lifting their voices. It is our World in turmoil. Always behaving as if regardless of what is happening around us...the World is in control. Established, firm and secure. The truth is that the only one who is Established, firm and secure is our Lord. For He was established before the earth was created. He was the Word and the Word was "with" God. His strength is mightier than any man, any Nation, any world! So in Loving our Lord, and living for Him...we can be assured that we can trust in Him and depend on Him to get us through what ever the World throws at us. We are not of this World, we just live here for now. I would love to hear other interpretations.

Amen! thank you Rhonda...that is truth...His power can't be measured. Greater is He that is in us...then he that is in the world.

Priscilla, I commented on the same verse, so you can read my interpretation. It's very similar to yours with a slightly different twist. God bless

Think you pretty well got it Priscilla. It's hard for the human mind to grasp His magnitude but as long as we know and believe that He is all powerful, all knowing and ever existent and especially all loving. Oh, to be able to love with His magnitude of love.

Throughout the Bible humanity is referred to as a, or the, sea. The sea of Humanity today is thundering Islam, conquer the world and establish sharia; evolution, we came from a big bang out of a primordial soup, there is no God; and so it goes waves of anti Christ doctrine crashing against the ROCK, of Ages. But Yahweh is mightier than the breakers of that sea of humanity. I've read the last chapter and our God wins, rules and reigns Forever! There is no God like Jehovah. Who was and is and is to come! Papa God, please open the ears of the deaf and eyes of the blind that they may hear the greatest story ever told and see the greatest God ever and receive Your Free Gift of Eternal Life. Most of all Papa, open my mouth to speak forth YOUR, words in YOUR time and boat of all YOUR love not judgement, anger or fear. Remind me always that I was once just as blind deaf and dumb, and is only by Your Grace and Mercy that You chose me. Not because of who I am but because of what You've done. Not because of what I've done but because of who You are. Who am I? I'm Yours.
