Psalms 53:1
The fool says in his heart,
"There is no God."
They are corrupt, and their ways are vile;
there is no one who does good.
"There is no God."
They are corrupt, and their ways are vile;
there is no one who does good.
Lloyd S. from Trenton, ON said:
Sadly, today there are many fools, who deny God's existence. Lord, bring an awakening to those who have not yet received Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords, so that they will not have to spend eternity in the Lake of Fire You designed for Satan. Amen

We often use others as our measuring rod of our own goodness. We hear people say, "I'm basically a good person. I've never murdered any one. I'm not a thief." In this world it's easy to compare yourself to others and think of yourself as better than them but God has a different standard. He is perfectly holy. When we measure ourselves compared to His holiness we all come up short. God says, "There is no one who does good." If anyone could earn their way to heaven, Jesus would not have had to die on the cross. Jesus dealt with our sin on the Cross and when we receive Him by faith we receive His righteousness as a gift. Thank You Jesus for saving my soul!

Psalm 53:1 - When I was young older people would tell me the same story over and over. I couldn’t understand why after 5 times they still didn’t remember telling me the same story. As I got older, I would remember they told me the story but I would forget how it ends and let them tell me 19 or 20 times the same story. Then I got even older and now I tell people the same stories over and over. But God doesn’t age like we do and if He tells us someone more than once, there is a reason. The reason could be that we don’t pay attention the first time or maybe God wants us to believe how true it really is. This Psalm is much like Psalm 14. Not sure what God’s reason is for telling us again. Maybe because it is so hard for us to believe that someone doesn’t believe in any god at all. Father in Heaven, I always believed in You, I just used my imagination to create You in my image. I don’t know if it is harder or easier to become saved with no belief in a god whatsoever. I am thankful that I found the Truth and I pray my friends, family and everyone finds the Truth before their last breath.
