Psalms 49:15
But God will redeem me from the realm of the dead;
he will surely take me to himself.

This verse was written about a thousand years before the arrival of the Messiah on earth. However, the writer knew that redemption would come.

Yes, Don, they knew about the resurrection, but I think it was more vague to them cuz Jesus resurrection and the New Testament writings is what brought it into clearer focus for us

Yes, as it is obvious that some of the details of His second coming are a little vague to us now. It will occur just as the Scriptures tell us, but some of the details may be slightly different than we imagined. Putting the vague details aside, won't that be a great day?
