Psalms 39:1
I said, "I will watch my ways
and keep my tongue from sin;
I will put a muzzle on my mouth
while in the presence of the wicked."
and keep my tongue from sin;
I will put a muzzle on my mouth
while in the presence of the wicked."
Monica W. from Grayson, GA said:
Everything begins with me and the actions I take. Therefore, I must discern my surroundings. I must then bridle my tongue. This is good especially in the presence of those that are not God fearing. My tongue could become tainted. I could use my tongue in a manner that leads to death rather than life. Therefore, my actions and speech should be bridled. Discernment is necessary at all times. You shall handle. I don't need to take any action and sometimes, the best action is silence and to stand still for I surrender all to Thee. The battle is Yours.

This verse to me is what I'm learning to do now and that is T.H.I.N.K. Before I open my mouth -is it True,Helpful,Inspiring,Necessary andKind? I pray for the right responses and reactions in conversations,for the most part it works,but I am still continuing to get this under control! God is working in me in a way I never thought He would!

Yes I will !!! I will remember that I am a child of god. And that the tongue is the biggest sin of all. The life and death is spoken from the tongue. Because words can hurt if you haven't outgrown them. Because once you know words are just a figure of speech. Then you begin to determine rather you accept them or not. The wicked needs encouragement. They speak utter out their mouth and can't take the consequences. And expect someone else to digest it. God's glory will cause all the unjust things to vanish. To fade away.
