Psalms 34:17
The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them;
he delivers them from all their troubles.

Wow! It was difficult to select only one verse in this psalm. There are so many promises in PS 34. I have been at the point of crying out to God. Literally bawling like a baby because my heart felt like it would burst from sorrow if I didn't. Did He hear me? Absolutely. Did He deliver me from my troubles? Yes, in His perfect timing, He did. It wasn't immediate, but it was without a doubt Him when it happened. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness time and time again.

Amen, Melissa. I believe all or at least most of us have been there, in that place of desperation. There's a great example on Sid Roth's show this week as portrayed by Art Thomas and how he learned to deal with it. God bless. Here's the link if you haven't seen it: https://sidroth.org/television/tv-archives/art-thomas-2/?src=weeklybroadcastemail_072417

If we live righteous lives (e.g. from psalm - fear the Lord and do not sin, do not lie and do good, do not do evil or wicked things), God protects us and delivers us and we will enjoy many good days.

True ... and we must remember to keep short (sin) accounts with God.
