Psalm 150:6 – What if i took a walk around my block and saw 30 people and all 30 of them waved or smiled at me. Wow, that would be a miracle around here. What if i took a walk around my block, saw 30 people, and they all said “praise the Lord”…i would pass out. What if i took a walk around my block and 30 people said praise the Lord, 23 dogs said praise the Lord, along with 12 cats, 9 squirrels, 4 chipmunks, and 30,000 ants, flies and misquotes, not to mention 4 muslin women taking off their face masks and lifting up their hands saying Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus. And what if then all the leaves start clapping their hand in time to the music that the birds are singing about how worthy is the lamb that was slain. If all that happened, it would be just a little itty bitty teeny weeny tiny taste of Psalm 150:6 “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!”

Nobody's gettin off on this one aye? If your breathing, you're too be praising God. If you have a talent, you should be praising God with it. Ask yourself this question: if all you had tomorrow morning when you wake up was what you were grateful for today, what would you have? Papa God, thank You for every breath I take. Let me praise You with that breath. Thank You for ALL the blessings You've bestowed upon me. Don't let me look upon what I don't have, but on what I do have. Let me always be grateful. I can't be grateful and depressed at the same time.

First, Sister Nancy, Honey, NO ONE CAN EVER GET TOO MUSHY FOR JESUS! AMEN??!! Second, Brother Lloyd, Thank God for you still being here! He has something for you to do yet! Just ask Him what it is! And last, but not least, we have to be satisfied with what God has given us, be content with where we are right now where He has us or we will not be satisfied or content in the next stage He will bring us to! If all we are doing is wanting, wanting, wanting, and not being happy with what we have or where we are at right now, we are going to be missing out on the Blessings that God has for us and wants to give to us in the "Right now" right where we are! AMEN??!!!

Veronica M.
Veronica M. from P C Beach, FL said:
The word i just heard from the Spirit was "receive". Receive- to take into one's possession, to take into the mind; apprehend mentally. Yesterday, "sing unto the Lord a NEW song" stood out to me. And today's verse, the command "let everything that has breath praise the Lord." I believe that once we, I "receive" what God has said to me, about me and what He has for me, it will become possible for us, me to fully praise Him. As a matter of fact, praise will be the fruit of the Spirit. For the Spirit of God knows only how to praise Him. I looked up the word "receive" because i am trying to picture it. What does "receiving" something look like? So I am picturing receiving a physical thing like someone giving me an outfit. And not just any outfit, one i have had my eye on but didnt think i could afford it and i wanted it so badly for an upcoming event. I can picture that. So how do i receive it...i take possession of it, then I wear it. I am am so happy...beaming. I feel great in it. I find i cant stop smiling and thankfulness just pours out without effort. This i think is how i am to "receive" the Spirit of God, His breath of life. I believe verse 6 is a prophetic word, foretelling me of what I am to expect, even today. Verse 6 is saying, "As you have received the breath of life, and have allowed God (through the Holy Spirit) to breath new life into you, you will give birth to praise. Thank You Father for filling me with Your Spirit and allowing me to give birth to praise. All glory and honor to You. Amen.
Donna N.
Donna N. from Orlando, FL said:
Good analogy, Veronica. Only what we receive from God is what we truly need. If not getting what we want is what we REALLY need, then we can trust that He's got something WAY better; an outfit that is more flattering and makes us feel even better than this one.

Allan S. from Southampton, ON said:
If you're alive then we are commanded to praise the Lord! I praise you Lord, creator of heaven and earth and everything in it. You are all powerful and yes, O so great! Nothing compares to you. Thank you for seeing fit to love me and choose me and invite me to follow you. I am so blessed. Continue to find use for me to serve You. Provide the wisdom and gifts I need to do the work. Thank you Lord. We give you all the glory. Continue to teach us as we begin reading your Word in Proverbs. Aside: How are you enjoying this journey through the Bibe using SJ. I know I am and appreciate being connected with other believers over the last 2 years (maybe more) during this journey from all over North America. I thank God for all of you and your encouragement to me.
Veronica M.
Veronica M. from P C Beach, FL said:
Allan, i love your opening statement, "IF you're alive...". I believe the operative word here is IF. I believe when or if we are alive we will respond to the command to praise. Well, the Spirit, which is life itself, within us will respond. Praise God! The Spirit knows God, He is God. Therefore He knows His voice and can only respond. And His response is praise. Praise God! It is an awesome event to experience. His (the Holy Spirit's) response to God's voice is amazing to me. Many times I feel like i have been invited to hear this great conversation of powerful leaders and I have VIP front row seats. I get so excited to be a conduit of such a powerful event. Thank You Father for making me alive in You. thank You Father for filling me with Your Spirit. Thank YOu for making Your presence known. And Allan, I am thoroughly enjoying the Bible using SJ. Praise God for it and praise God for blessing each person used to engineer it, establish it, and make it available to us. Thank you Allan for asking and for your comments. They are helpful and minister to my soul. May God continue to keep and bless you. BE blessed Allan for you ARE truly blessed.

Allan, I chose the same verse and said basically the same thing. I, too, am thoroughly enjoying this PTL SJ. It's caused me to really think about what I'm reading and DIG into the Word so I'll have something to comment, and not just read and check it off on my list that I did my Bible reading for the day. I LOVE reading and commenting on everyone's posts. I LOVE that we have people here from all over the world. I thank God every day for all my PTL buddies and pray God will bless each of you. I miss you folks when you don't show up here for a few days. I grieve when someone comes and starts getting plugged in with us, then drops off the face of our little world. We don't have personal info on anyone, so we can't send them a text or email to find out if they're OK. So I just pray for all of you and that you'll come back and bless us with your presence. I agree with Veronica, thank you for asking, Allan. I, too, appreciate your comments. God bless you and ALL my PTL buddies.

Allen, this is a great prayer “Amen”. Veronica, i love the “if”. i love SJ (South Jersey) and i also love TPL SJ (Scriptural Journey). i struggle to post everyday because when i can’t think of anything i wait and wait for God to give me something. i should say until I listen for what God gives me. satan knows how to push my buttons. i am in total agreement with Donna and Veronica and have stated many times how much i love and appreciate everyone that makes post and comments. Maybe i need to say it more often. i have always envied people that journal. i have had prayer journals in the past but that was long ago. i am thankful i found this group in December 2012. i also grieve when someone, as Donna says, fall off the face of our world. i especially miss Derek. Although he was never up to date with us, i got a lot out of his post and i pray he is alright. Funny how we know so little of each other, yet we are so connected in Christ. i bet if we all went to school together we would have never bothered with each other. In other words, without Christ we have nothing in common. God bless you all and thanks for being there.
