Psalm 150:6 – What if i took a walk around my block and saw 30 people and all 30 of them waved or smiled at me. Wow, that would be a miracle around here. What if i took a walk around my block, saw 30 people, and they all said “praise the Lord”…i would pass out. What if i took a walk around my block and 30 people said praise the Lord, 23 dogs said praise the Lord, along with 12 cats, 9 squirrels, 4 chipmunks, and 30,000 ants, flies and misquotes, not to mention 4 muslin women taking off their face masks and lifting up their hands saying Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus. And what if then all the leaves start clapping their hand in time to the music that the birds are singing about how worthy is the lamb that was slain. If all that happened, it would be just a little itty bitty teeny weeny tiny taste of Psalm 150:6 “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!”

Nobody's gettin off on this one aye? If your breathing, you're too be praising God. If you have a talent, you should be praising God with it. Ask yourself this question: if all you had tomorrow morning when you wake up was what you were grateful for today, what would you have? Papa God, thank You for every breath I take. Let me praise You with that breath. Thank You for ALL the blessings You've bestowed upon me. Don't let me look upon what I don't have, but on what I do have. Let me always be grateful. I can't be grateful and depressed at the same time.

The word i just heard from the Spirit was "receive". Receive- to take into one's possession, to take into the mind; apprehend mentally. Yesterday, "sing unto the Lord a NEW song" stood out to me. And today's verse, the command "let everything that has breath praise the Lord." I believe that once we, I "receive" what God has said to me, about me and what He has for me, it will become possible for us, me to fully praise Him. As a matter of fact, praise will be the fruit of the Spirit. For the Spirit of God knows only how to praise Him. I looked up the word "receive" because i am trying to picture it. What does "receiving" something look like? So I am picturing receiving a physical thing like someone giving me an outfit. And not just any outfit, one i have had my eye on but didnt think i could afford it and i wanted it so badly for an upcoming event. I can picture that. So how do i receive it...i take possession of it, then I wear it. I am am so happy...beaming. I feel great in it. I find i cant stop smiling and thankfulness just pours out without effort. This i think is how i am to "receive" the Spirit of God, His breath of life. I believe verse 6 is a prophetic word, foretelling me of what I am to expect, even today. Verse 6 is saying, "As you have received the breath of life, and have allowed God (through the Holy Spirit) to breath new life into you, you will give birth to praise. Thank You Father for filling me with Your Spirit and allowing me to give birth to praise. All glory and honor to You. Amen.

If you're alive then we are commanded to praise the Lord! I praise you Lord, creator of heaven and earth and everything in it. You are all powerful and yes, O so great! Nothing compares to you. Thank you for seeing fit to love me and choose me and invite me to follow you. I am so blessed. Continue to find use for me to serve You. Provide the wisdom and gifts I need to do the work. Thank you Lord. We give you all the glory. Continue to teach us as we begin reading your Word in Proverbs.
Aside: How are you enjoying this journey through the Bibe using SJ. I know I am and appreciate being connected with other believers over the last 2 years (maybe more) during this journey from all over North America. I thank God for all of you and your encouragement to me.
