Psalms 100:4
Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
Terry J. from Hinsdale, NY said:
In heaven all the saints there along with all the angels are praising God the Father and His Son, Jesus. Although we can't hear it with our ears, all of creation is praising the Creator. We are called upon to join in the great praise chorus. Thank You Father for loving us so much that You sent Your only Son to die the death we deserved on the cross. Thank You Jesus, for Your willingness to come and take our sin upon Yourself. Thank You for sending the Holy Spirit to empower us to live the Christian life.

Psalm 100:4 – This is a good verse to follow verse 3 that says, “Know that the Lord is God. It is He who made us, and we are His…” The opposite of entering with thanksgiving would be to enter with complaints. How can we complain, everything we have, even our lives was from God. He created us for His pleasure, not the other way around. When we take the time to show thanksgiving we are more aware of all that God has given us. God also wants us to enter with praise, not because He has a huge ego that needs feeding, but because we become what we worship. If you worship some foul mouth comedian that makes a living making fun of others, you will find yourself also putting people down so that you can get a laugh from your friends and feel important. But if you worship God for His mercy and grace, you too will be merciful and gracious to others. Father, may praises for You continually be on my lips. i want to become more like You and less like the world.
