Not much to comment on in this chapter, except that it must have been a large task to sort out an verify all those who were eligible to hold positions in the priesthood and verify them.

It was almost like a chapter in Numbers(finding who belongs in each tribe/family tree. but as you stated it was a large task and it took many people to finish the task at hand. Many hands makes the job easy, even if you have opposition and distractions. Gods hand of protection was upon them. Be Blest on the Lords Day Loyd. Any news when you can gather together or you still using Zoom?

Still using Zoom Peter. Pastor is on holidays for a couple of weeks and when he returns we're going to try and persuade him to open up regular services again. Been no COVD-19 cases in this area for some time now. God bless. :-)

After 70 years, Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, had allowed the return of the Israelites to their land. Jerusalem and its walls had been rebuild and the local towns re-inhabited. God had a plan and saw that His plan was completed. Lord, we know You have a plan for the world today, and we proclaim that You will complete Your plan. Help us, Lord, to realize our part in Your plan, that we may fulfill what You desire us to do, before the soon coming return of the Lord Jesus.

Once again, God's people were united and had worked together to rebuild what God had ordained. Lord, I ask that You would unite the people of Your church to work together for the rebuilding of Your church here on earth, so that we would be united in Your work and furtherance of Your kingdom here on earth before You, Lord Jesus, return. We need unity in the body and get back to the five fold ministry that God laid out for us as stated in Eph. 4:11. The church has spent so much time shooting at each other and giving the enemy a chance to laugh at us. It's time. I don't care about denomination, let's get back to preaching the truth of the gospel.
