This was a real eye opener. I've not digested this before and today had to leave the passage right here and go read some commentaries to further digest. Anyone else have that moment in reading the Bible, where having read a text, especially the seasonal ones year after year and not having really caught it the first few times, have to stop and say wait, what? This is new, I've not seen this before?

In His death, He brought us life. He DIED to bring us, sinners, to an everlasting life with Him. Confess sins and do what brings glory to Him. We truly have an awesome God. Amen. Praise be to God!
