Perhaps we will all stand guilty in this area. Forgive me Lord for any words that I have said that you yourself would not have said. Purify my tongue so that it can be used to build up and encourage others. Be Lord of my tongue.

Most people don't think about what they say before they say it. This is not good we are responsible for every word we say. Words are very powerful and most people don't realize just how much impact a single word can have.We need to carefully choose our words before we speak. Words are so powerful that they can bring life and encouragement or they can bring death and damage to someones spirit. Think before you speak and ask forgiveness for those unkind words you have spoken.
