"For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels." Mark 8:35-38 Amen What can a man give in exchange for his soul? Nothing. But GOD in His infinite love and wisdom has the perfect plan for our death to self and life in Him. But the lost and dying, adulterous and sinful world cannot see it for their hard hearts and love of self and sinful pleasures. We must reach as many as possible, amen.

the things of this world are merely things, We are not of this world so why would the things of this world be so important? They arent important enough to gain and yet lose Jesus in the process cause if we desire the world and what it has to offer more than Jesus we lose our soul and our connection to Jesus and eternal life in his kingdom! I would much rather be with Jesus!!

You can have all the money in the world and it means nothing if you don't have Jesus.

Indeed, we often judge other by their posessions or their earthly success, but we do not ask where their soul stands, this is the true definition of success living a faithful life for God

A these things shall pass away, and our souls along with it if we do not give up our lives for Christ. Christ died for our sins that we may have eternal life with Him in heaven. What more can one sacrifice for another than their very own life as Jesus did for me?! Thank you Jesus for loving me, for having compassion on me and for dieing for my very soul. Amen!!

Your soul is the one thing about yourself that everyone should be most concerned about. Because if you forfeit your soul, you will suffer for eternity in hell with the devil. But if you devote your soul to God, you will live forever in peace. Jesus is saying, what good is it to gain temporary treasures while forfeiting your soul? You will regret it forever! To no end.
