Sal go back one verse to Mark3:28.It says all sin and blashphemy can be forgiven,If you care enough about your sin I believe God is willing to forgive.I have been taught that blasphemy is total disrespect, unbelief and disregard for who Jesus is.If you have blasphemed the Holy Spirit you probably would not want to repent and be forgiven. God is love 1John4:8.

I agree with Don, Sal. If you had blasphemed Holy Spirit you would not be concerned about it because you would not believe in Jesus. The enemy loves to burden us with guilt to try and turn us away from God's truth. The devil is a discourager. I've known people who've struggled with that but if they are concerned about it, I believe they are still ok in God's sight. God bless you.

This scripture is a great self check. I looked up the definition of blaspheme and found it means to speak impiously or irreverently of; to speak evil of, slander, abuse...hmmm...So I ask God do I fall into this catagory? I ask God how do I fall into this catagory...As I took a closer look at the definition of blaspheme, the word slander jumped out at me. Slander: defamation of one's character...ok, defamation: the act of defaming or unjustified injury of the good reputation of another. That settles it, I do not want to do this to my Father or His Spirit who dwells in me (the Holy Spirit). I know God is all powerful, all knowing, everywhere at the same time. He is love. I want to be led by Him at all times. If I believe in the power of the Holy Spirit, I desire for Him to work in me, through me unhindered. I do not want to defame, slander, abuse, or show any irreverent, impious behavior toward the Holy Spirit in any way; be it by commission or ommission. Heavenly Father, You said that if I ask You for the Holy Spirit, then You will give Him to me (Luke 11:13), You said You will never forsake or leave me even until the end of time (Mt. 28:20). Please help me, please give me Your Spirit today, guide me today, show me clearly what You will have me to do, to say. I do not want to do what I will but Your will. I give myself to You. Manifest Your glory through me today Father. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Veronica. You are sealed with the Holy Spirit the moment you accepted Jesus as Lord.I have a few verses for you to read Acts2:38,Eph1:13,1Corn3:16,1Corn6:19.There are many more. We are taught that if you had ever committed blasphemy, that you would have total disregard for the Lord. You would not care, respect or have any believe in Jesus. Reading your post today certainly doesn't show any thing like that. God Bless You

Thanks Don. Those scriptures are great. I do rever the Holy Spirit and love Him, but I feel I take Him for granted more often than not. I want to be filled by Him daily. I have been meditating on John 5:30 and am amazed at Christ's humility and meekness. It is becoming a great need for me to really do this...to move as He moved to be a manifestation of God's glory daily. I do not want to continue to grieve the Spirit or quinch His fire in me. Though my actions my not be blasphemous, lukewarm is just as bad and I no longer desire that. I am thankful that God is placing this desire in me for I know He can and will use it for His glory. God is doing a wonderful work, showing the world His love for us, and I am honored that He has adopted me and has chosen me to partner with Him. Thank you for your comments, you have been and are a great help in my spiritual walk. May God continue to bless and keep you. May His blessing pursue and overtake you. To God be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

To continue to refuse the Holy Spirit's leading to receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord is the only sin with eternal consequences.
