This tearing of the curtain "top to bottom" was proof that it was an act of God. Had it been torn from bottom to top they could have said it was don by man but this was proof positive that it was the hand of God that tore the curtain.

So true Don, and it also shows, since it was torn from top to bottom, that it was the hand of God that did the tearing. If it had been torn from bottom to top it could have been said that man did it but there's no way man could have torn it from top to bottom, which as you've said, opened the Holy of Holies to man with no barriers, if only we choose to come to Him through Jesus.
