Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

God tells us that as long as we believe we will receive what we have asked for in prayer. God doesn't say we will instantly receive what we have ask for. God help me to stay strong in my faith, to know that all things happen for your good, in your time....not mine.

Yes, but we can believe all we want, but if we're still participating with the enemy in unforgiveness, we aren't gonna see much of these miracles. Psa 66:18 says if I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord won't hear me.

Faith and "belief" must go hand in hand. If you ask for something in prayer and have any doubt whatsoever that you have received it then you certainly won't receive. When I ask anything of God in prayer I always thank God for it and in the name of Jesus Christ! Our timing is not of God's timing. My prayer may not be answered for a day, or a week, or even a year or more. And I may not receive what I thanked God for and believed -- but a more perfect and blessed answer. Our Father KNOWS what is best for us and has our best interest in the palm of His hand! And I believe and unanswered prayer is an answer to my prayer--for I do not know what is always best for me. Our God is all-knowing! Thank you God!!

Ask in prayer ... believe you have received (the answer to your prayer) and it WILL be yours. Quite a promise to lay hold of!

That prayer without faith is pointless. We must have faith when we pray that God is gonna do as He promises and work everything out for our own good.
