It is clear what this verse means. It touches my heart though because sometimes I feel like I sinned too much and that I'm too far from God to try to turn around and go back. This verse let's me know I am forgiven and now I can love Jesus even more because he has forgiven my enormous debts.

We must experience sin in order to understand and receive forgiveness. The woman had many sins therefore she required great forgiveness and showed an abundance of love to Jesus. Church, grace & God are not for the righteous but for sinners.
