Our God does not need anything from us but He looks at our heart. He knows those who give the extras and those who give their all. If He is our Lord and Savior, He deserves our all--our possessions and more than that, our hearts.

There are so many powerful messages in Luke. This one especially touches me because I can remember not having more than copper and silver to give. I was ashamed that I didn't have more to give to the Lord. The Lord accepts all gifts large or small especially those that come from the heart.
