It's so true that we can be more compassionate towards pets and animals than people. However, Jesus saw the misery in the woman and He healed her on the Sabbath. He is Lord of the Sabbath. May we have a comassionate heart like Jesus and not be bound by rules and regulations.

No matter what the day or the hour we should always be willing to share the Good News of Jesus to whoever it is that God leads you to or leads to you. There is no day of rest in doing God's work.
