Luke 11:10
For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

God teaches us to ask so we can receive, seek and we will find and knock and the door will be opened. God does not say we will immediately receive, find or a door will be opened. We need to ask, seek and knock in faith and wait on God to answer when it is in His plan for our life.
