Leviticus 26:44
Yet in spite of this, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them or abhor them so as to destroy them completely, breaking my covenant with them. I am the Lord their God.

Even though I miss up, fail to obey His Word and sin. He, my Lord God, will not turn from me.

However, we all need to confess and repent, doing our best not to continually repeat our sins. I know I have and do struggle with some sins but as I read and study His word and pray, my strength to resist sin increases. I believe because it is more easily recognized as sin. Lord, help us all to walk according to Your desires and commands and do as the Scripture of 2Chronicles 7:14 instructs us. Amen

What a contrast between reverence for God & utter selfishness! But in spite of anything we may have done to bring on ruin to ourselves, God remains faithful. He'll keep His promise & not abandon us as we have Him. God is God & God IS good -- He can never be anything but true goodness.

This verse and your comment, Gina, again brings back the Scripture of 2Chronicles 7:14. He is always faithful if we repent and turn back to Him.
