This is God's action : This verse promises us that God accepts us when decide to turn away from Sin and follow Christ. Christ mercy is unfailing. Amen, Peter. I just pray that the church would stress the need of repentance more, too. So many, I fear, have prayed the prayer, asking Christ to forgive their sins and come into their lives, yet they continue on with the ways of the world, thinking because of their prayer of confessing Christ, that they are ok but we see in Scripture our need to repent. This is why I believe in Jesus. This is how I have came to be born again. This is where I find forgiveness of sins past, present and future. It is the Father's will that we have eternal life and there is no other way to eternal life but through Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior.
