Jeremiah 38 (20) ,,"Obey the Lord by doing what I tell you. Then it will go well with you, and your life will be spared." As Jeremiah tells this to the king, we can see how we can lean to this scripture for ourselves by obeying God's Word, always ask for forgiveness when we sin, and God will keep us in His grace and have mercy on us and we will live with Him forever!

"They will not hand you over," Jeremiah replied. "Obey the Lord by doing what i tell you. ( Luke 11: 28 "Blessed rather are those who Hear the Word of God and Obey it) Then it will go well with you,(Jeremiah 39: 18 I will save you; you will not fall by the sword but will escape with your Life because you Trust Me, declares the Lord) and your life will be spared. Key words Obey and Trust we as the Body of Christ need to Obey and Trust in Him with everything and things will go well. Amen

We may not have a Jeremiah in our lives to tell us what God would have us do, but we do have God's Holy Spirit dwelling within us, guiding us, telling us what God the Father would have us do, and God the Father speaks directly to us through His Holy Word. When we obey the leading of the Holy Spirit, when we hear and obey the voice of God as He speaks to us through His written Word, things always goes well for us, but when we disregard the leading of the Holy Spirit and turn a deaf ear to the voice of God, things never go well for us. To use an old expression, I have walked in places where angels feared to tread in my efforts to take the good news to gang members without fear because I entered those places because I felt the Holy Spirit leading me and I heard God's voice telling me to enter those places.
