You are good and righteous, better than others who need the saving grace of Christ. My church home while growing up was more broad and to the point, no illusions. We are all sinners and no one is good, thus the saving grace. Many churches now follow this feel good philosophy and I believe it is detrimental to the proper growth of the Christian.
