By calling this covenant "new," he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear.

GOD"S Ways are not our ways as He has shown us in His Word. We, as believers, need to obey this new covenant as the Apostle Paul is teaching us in the New Testament.

It is verse 12 that I really wanted to comment on. 'For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.' What an awesome God that forgives us and does not bring our sins up to us again.

It is absolutely amazing, how the Creator of heaven and earth, and all that surrounds it could be so forgiving, when we follow Him and how He came to earth to die for me/us. Thank You, Lord.

Christ died and established a new covenant with us. The old covenant is now obsolete. Unfortunately, the Jewish people are still trying to live under the old covenant.

I feel that this relates to the times we are presently living in as more and more have turned from God largely due to the water down gospel the American church has preached!

I so believe this, since the day I accepted the Lord as my savior, as a senior in high school. it is such a comfort to me. I pray for my daughter who married a Jewish gentleman who we love and adore. His family has invited us to some beautiful events. She is saved and does not claim his religion, it just is so hard at times when we are involved.

I absolutely love the Jewish people, especially considering God blinded their eyes for our sakes. If they had believed that Jesus was the Messiah, they never would have let Him be crucified, and there would be no hope of salvation for us, the gentiles. Romans chapter 11 and especially vs. 7-11 Praise God that He did not cast them away, but will lift them up in due time, as it is written in Hebrews 8: 10-12.

Jesus fully satisfied the old law, as He said He did not come to abolish the law but to fulfill it. We were helpless with the old law but Jesus made us right to it. Jesus thank you that You made all things right for us.
