But Christ is faithful as the Son over God's house. And we are his house, if indeed we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope in which we glory.

If indeed we hold firmly ... it seems it is possible to be a follower of Jesus and for some reason to fall away. Don't allow this happen brothers and sisters. Hang in there till we too are glorified with Him. obeying Him, trusting Him, believing Him and hoping in Him.
